Black Sheep
Standing out from the crowd

In a neighborhood filled with great new restaurants, an opportunity existed to be one of a few upscale bars for the after-work and late-night crowds. Black Sheep was designed to stand out from the herd.
Inspired by printmaker graphics from the era, B&Co. reconcepted the turn-of-the-century Schupert-Zoeller Printing Company building into Black Sheep.
The neighborhood standout
Welcome to Walker’s Point, Milwaukee’s warehouse district and newfound foodie neighborhood. In August 2013, B&Co. transformed the historic space. We kept the exposed brick walls, the original wood floors and the soaring beadboard ceiling. We added a big metal-top bar, eclectic modern interiors, a bold two-story mural and a series of quirky custom art pieces called “Sheep in Four Media.”
Through irreverent events and early promotions, we established a following of regulars for Black Sheep, now in its sixth year.
