Created for the love of travel, curated for the needs of family, and fueled by a passion for hospitality, Hotel Bambinee was the obvious answer to a clear gap in the national market. It just needed a strong identity and brand.

Today, modern lifestyle hotels too often consider children as a second thought. After years of frequently experiencing this firsthand, a professional hotelier and mother of two was determined to set the bar higher. With a clear need in the market and a strong vision in mind, our client identified the Italian word “bambini”, or “young child”, as the brand name, but knew the concept needed to strongly appeal to parents as well. This commitment to services and amenities that support both parents and children became the inspiration for our work.

Our aim was to create a family-focused hotel concept that could be as easy to implement in D.C. as it could in San Francisco.

Bringing Joy to Family Travel

Because our client set out to create a concept and did not have a brick-and-mortar space, Hotel Bambinee needed to be a strong and flexible enough brand so that it could easily come to life if a variety of urban real estate opportunities presented themselves.

The brand visuals intentionally feel light-hearted and fun yet still grounded and approachable, ultimately appealing to both child and parent. The mix of bright colors with neutral tones and flowing lines paired with modern typefaces allowed the brand to convey the vision for the guest experience: Parents who could enjoy a coffee or glass of wine while their children engaged with thoughtful on-property amenities. Hotel Bambinee’s messaging and visuals seamlessly celebrate the joy families can experience while traveling together.

As part of strengthening the conceptual pitch, we also assisted our client in developing “Club Bambinee”, an affiliation program that would also allow existing hotels share and offer the Bambinee brand, offerings, and amenities.
