MacGillis Law Group
No Ivory Towers, No Egos
For over 15 years, MacGillis Law Group has stood alongside injury victims and first responders across Southeastern Wisconsin. The challenge was to translate their distinct niche into a brand system grounded in trust, empathy, and advocacy—with a story the team could stand behind and clients could immediately recognize as their own.

The art direction took a distinctly human approach, designed to resonate without over-announcing itself.
The color palette pulls from familiar, lived-in tones—soft whites, worn leather, and deep blues that feel more like everyday clothing than courtroom power suits. A custom icon composed of three “M” forms a triangle in the negative space, symbolizing stability, strength, and unity.
Photography and typography lean away from the look of a traditional law firm and speak directly to the human side of the practice. Imagery captures real, lighthearted interactions, while the type is sophisticated yet full of character—nothing feels staged or stiff. The result is a brand that feels steady, thoughtful, and quietly confident.
From the first handshake to the final follow-up
Branded materials play a quiet but important role, offering something tangible and reassuring in moments that often feel uncertain. We approached collateral with the same philosophy as the brand itself: thoughtful, approachable, and reliable.
Business cards and folders become small, physical expressions of care rather than simply functional tools. Printed on textured linen stock with copper foil accents, each piece carries warmth and permanence, echoing the firm’s grounded, hands-on approach. Clean layouts, sophisticated typography, and intentional structure ensure everything feels clear and confident, reinforcing trust in every interaction.
