When hotelier, developer and foodie Tim Dixon envisioned an old-fashioned pantry stocked with items made in-house or through community partnerships, we couldn't wait to dive in.
Designed to go
Perfect for both visitors and area foodies, The Pantry at The Last Hotel is where travelers and locals come together. The Pantry ties in all elements of the property’s story, with products ranging from bottled sauces and pickled vegetables to house-infused oils.
B&Co. was tasked with designing packaging for a multitude of creations including three kinds of hot sauces, pickled dilly beans, cocktail bitters and even The Last Hotel’s own gin and whiskey made in partnership with St. Louis’ hometown StiL630. That gin and whiskey went on to win Best of Category and Gold Medal, respectively, at the American Distilling Institute’s 2020 Judging Awards.
Our work also included packing for custom shoe laces (an homage to the building’s shoe factory roots) and branded apparel.

For those who love the craft cocktails at The Last Hotel, we created packaging for house-made bitters. The name Weathervane reflects St. Louis being geographically at the crossroads of America, with southern hospitality and Midwestern friendliness all part of its influences.

Barrels that age The Last Hotel's own private label rye whiskey and also house-made hot sauce? Sure, we can create a label for that. A classic Buffalo hot sauce, named for St. Louis' nickname "The Lou."

You know your client has a sense of humor when you suggest naming a hotel sauce after him, and he approves this label...
